There’s a lot of information out there on how to eat right, and if you’re like most people, you might find it a little overwhelming.  But making healthy food choices isn’t as hard as you might think.

Making healthy food choices for yourself and your family is simple.  Just follow these guidelines:

  1. The less processed food you eat, the better.  Healthy food choices start with getting food as close to its natural state as possible.
  2. Everyone can stand to eat more fruits and veggies!
  3. Whole grains are essential- always check the ingredients for the terms “whole grains” or “whole wheat”.
  4. Choose fish and lean meats over other kinds of meat; portions should be no bigger than the size of a deck of cards.
