Thankfully, the trend toward natural and healthy foods is growing, and while specialty organic grocers are popping up everywhere, your neighborhood grocers are trying to compete by providing more natural, organic, and health food products.

Health food products include a huge variety of foods and products, and you have to be smart about what you buy.  Some brands would love to take advantage of the consumer trend toward health and wellness by promoting their products as health food products.  However, newly established agencies haven’t yet set standards for what defines “health food products” or many of the other terms that are often used on packaging.  Always read labels to know what you’re paying for.
