Vitamins For Your Eyes
Because we’re such a beauty-oriented society that spends a lot of time and money focused on how we look and how to improve our appearance our eyes get a lot of attention. We have all different kinds of makeup, eye creams, lotions, and so forth that are meant to improve the appearance of our eyes but some times the very best way that we can go about it is to create beauty and health from the inside out by eating properly, maintaining our bodies, and just living the healthiest lifestyle that we can.
Everyone is different and so everyones dieting and beauty needs are unique but one of the most common problems that people have, especially when it comes to eyes, are the dark circles and bags that can hang underneath our eyes. Most people that have discovered these dark circles hovering under their eyes instantly want to camouflage it with makeup but more often than not that simply isn’t enough to take care of them and it doesn’t solve the problem of why they’re there in the first place.
Sometimes it can be a problem with dehydration that can cause those dark circles under the eyes to be a problem. Not drinking enough water can seriously tire your body out and it makes a big difference when it comes to the appearance of your skin. This kind of dehydration can easily make dark circles appear under your eyes and it can make it difficult for your skin to create new skin cells and to get rid of dead ones, leaving you with a tired, sluggish appearance. Plus the skin on and around your eyes is particularly sensitive and delicate which means that even the slightest imbalance in your body can show up really quickly in the skin under yours. However a very common reason for this look to the under-eye skin is having a vitamin deficiency. Vitamin K, for example can remove these dark circles because they’re often a sign of a deficiency in that vitamin. Vitamin B can help reduce water retention, while Vitamin E and A can help remove those dark circles cosmetically.
To add more Vitamin K into your diet consider eating things like eggs, wheat, cornmeal, brown rice, soybeans and alfalfa. Milk, liver, and sweet potatoes are also packed with Vitamin K and can be a great help in removing those circles. For a topical application try putting slices of pumpkin under your eyes because it contains many of these vitamins and will soothe skin. You can also do a few drops of Vitamin E oil or retinol (which is Vitamin A) at night to prevent dark circles in the morning. For more of an intake of Vitamin B try foods like salmon, oysters, spinach, yogurt, and walnuts - all of which contain a mix of the different types of Vitamin B. These types all work together so it’s important to get a variety in your diet.
Dark circles under your eyes can definitely be gotten rid of as long as you make a point of working both on the inside and the outside to solve the problem. Good luck!
